Stine is a Boston-based comic who delights audiences with her charming deadpan delivery and dark wit. She tells pithy, absurdist jokes on the human condition to offer equal parts laughter and enlightenment. With winsome understatement, Stine ropes audiences into her unique frame of mind where a tragicomic zeitgeist prevails and people know what tragicomic zeitgeist means. Sometimes, Stine plays songs on the ukulele.
Originally hailing from Duluth, GA (a.k.a the Koreatown of the South), Stine has performed nationally at colleges, comedy clubs, and comedy festivals including the Boston Comedy Festival, All Jane Comedy Festival, Cosmic Comedy Berlin, Cinderblock Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, the Laugh Riot Grrrl L.A. Comedy Festival, the Westside Stand-Up Showdown, the Chicago Women's Funny Festival, and the Decatur Arts Festival. She was the 2013 April Comic-in-Residence at The Comedy Studio. |
